About Mudassar Zafar
I am a full-stack web developer based in Faisalabad, Pakistan, with 5+ years building production websites and web applications. I work with businesses here in Faisalabad and with remote teams around the world.
Why I build
The projects I enjoy most are the ones where something is genuinely broken. A checkout nobody completes. A dashboard the team quietly avoids opening. A site that takes eight seconds to load on mobile data and loses the customer before it finishes.
Fixing that is more satisfying than adding another feature nobody asked for. It is also easier to measure, which means you can see what you paid for rather than take my word for it.
I like working directly with the person who owns the outcome. No account manager in the middle, no requirements lost in translation. If something in the plan does not make sense, I would rather say so early than build it and invoice you for it.
What I work on
Most of my work falls into three groups. Business websites that need to load fast and bring in enquiries. Online stores, usually on WooCommerce, built around cash on delivery because that is how customers here actually pay. And web applications with logins, dashboards and data behind them.
More recently that includes products with AI in them. I integrate the Claude and OpenAI APIs into real applications, which mostly means handling the unglamorous parts properly: cost, latency, bad output, and what the interface does when the model gets it wrong.

Where I am based
Faisalabad is home. That means local clients can call during their own working hours, get a reply the same day, and meet in person when a project needs it rather than filing a ticket into a time zone eight hours away.
Beyond Punjab, I work remotely with teams in the UK, Germany and the US. Most projects run over calls and shared documents, which suits both groups equally well.
